stereotypes sell

Stereotypes sell Pop / female. The target audience for this magazine cover would usually be for Teenage girls. The main object on the cover is Justin Bieber, which attracts teenage girls. The covers are stereotypical towards teenage girls due to the fact that the main colour palette is pink. The other stereotype on the cover is the way Justin Bieber looks. He is posing in a way that girls like and it attracts them. There are also lots of other men in a smaller picture which may also attract girls. This is stereotyped to the way girls like. The percentage of girls to boys that buy this would be higher. Rap / ethnicity. The target audience for this rap poster would normally be black men. One of the stereotypical features of the poster that show that it is rap is the sunglasses and the cap. This shows that they are 'cool' in the way that rap music is. Q7 Releasing a video game keeps the brand - the film - in the public eye for longer so increases the publicity for the film. This would help sell DVD or streaming releases of the film. This diversifies the company - if it is making money from more than one media form it spreads the risk there always is in releasing a film that you might lose money. Q8 Uses that creating video games for a movie were a good idea and used Blumler and Katz's theory was for entertainment. The video games created entertainment for the world.  The second reason was fro personal identity. It could help us consider who we are and show us our values of what we like. An example of this is Emmet. He is himself and dresses what he shows to be. He doesn't think he is the hero however succeeds in the quest he is set. Next is for relationships. The games could help us find what we relate to and also help us to share what we like. It could lead to communication with others and improve those skills. ...
